Dr. Manooj Prasad of Garden State Foot & Ankle Group brings extensive experience as a podiatric doctor and surgeon, with a specialty in foot, ankle, and lower leg disorders. Dr. Prasad offers personalized non-surgical and surgical treatments to meet the unique needs and lifestyle of each patient.
Dr. Prasad completed his undergraduate education at Rutgers University before earning his doctorate from the New York College of Podiatric Medicine. His surgical training included time at Our Lady of Mercy in the Bronx and St. Vincent’s Hospital Brooklyn-Queens, as well as advanced training in foot and ankle surgery with Dr. Stanley Kalish in Atlanta, Georgia. One of the few surgeons locally trained in the STAR Total Ankle Joint Replacement, he also utilizes the latest wireless hammer toe correction surgery technology.

I had an ingrown toe nail on my big toe. Called the office of Dr. Prasad in the morning and I was able to get an appointment that afternoon. The office staff was very friendly. Dr Prasad immediately diagnosed my condition. He talked me thru the entire process to remove the part of the toe nail that was ingrown. He sprayed the toe, gave me a numbing thing then cut the nail. I did not feel a thing. I would definitely recommend Dr Prasad to anyone the has a foot or ankle concern.
Remarkable Improvement
Dr. Prasad is a caring individual who genuinely is concerned for his patients. For 7 days suffering with severe pain, no amount of IV antibiotics nor IV pain killers offered any relief. The MRI showed nothing; only due to Dr Prasad’s expertise and touch, he was able to identify the area of infection and immediately performed the surgery, which promptly provided relief. Words cannot describe the gratitude for Dr. Prasad and his knowledge. Highly Recommended!

I had emergency in October and had to have my great toe partially amputated from the beginning Dr. Prasad let me know what was going on and what to be expected before and after the surgery. I have never met a more caring Doctor and Staff at the Wound Care Center in Clara Maass. It did not matter which exam room I went to everyone there was inviting and warm. Dr. Prasad and his staff are amazing …If you want a great experience and not be just another chart or patient go there.
